Apiary

Augustinavičių family apiary – centuries-old tradition and today’s scientific achievements.

Our apiary is located in Kėdainiai district, on the bank of the river Šušvė, in the former building of Pašušvio manor house museum.

Currently we have 150 bees‘ families. Three generations are engaged in apiculture: the mother, me and the son. Almost all honey collected by our bees is used for production of mead.

We keep our bees in a forest, river valleys and we seek that honey would be qualitative, various because it determines taste and quality of our mead.

We also sell honey, various mead mixtures with propolis, bee bread, lyophilized berries.
